5-2-20: DRINKING WATER AND WASTE DISPOSAL:
   A.   Water from a non-public water system shall be tested at the owner's expense at least annually and as required by State water quality regulations. A copy of laboratory analysis showing safe results is required for license renewal. No additional laboratory analysis is required for license renewal if the food establishment is regulated as a non-community water supply. If a safe water sample is not achievable, the license will be temporarily suspended until safe water can be provided.
   B.   Sewage shall be disposed through an approved facility that is either a public sewage treatment plant or a private sewage disposal system that is sized, constructed, maintained, and operated in accordance with the Illinois Private Sewage Disposal Code.
      1.   Septic tanks are to be pumped, at a minimum, every two (2) years. A copy of the pumping report is required for license renewal. Inability to submit the required confirmation of septic tank maintenance will result in a temporarily suspended license until written proof is submitted.
      2.   Any uninspected or unpermitted septic system, or septic system that a record does not exist for, shall take the steps set forth by the regulatory authority to determine if the system is compliant with this subsection B. (Ord. 2018-10, 10-9-2018, eff. 12-1-2018)
