4-8-2: APPLICATION OF PROVISIONS:

A. Pursuant to 55 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/5-12001.1, herein referred to as the "Act", this chapter shall apply to the "facility", as defined in section 4-8-1 of this chapter, as a telecommunications carrier or AM broadcast station. (Ord., 7-9-2002; amd. 2009 Code)

B. The provisions of this chapter shall not abridge any rights created by or authority confirmed in the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996, PL 104-104. (Ord., 7-9-2002)
