6-5-5: DRIVING ON SIDEWALK:
The driver of a vehicle shall not drive upon a sidewalk or within any sidewalk area except at a permanent or temporary driveway. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-10)
6-5-6: STARTING PARKED VEHICLE:
No person shall start a vehicle which is stopped, standing or parked unless and until such movement can be made with reasonable safety. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-11)
6-5-7: LIMITATION ON BACKING:
   A.   The driver of a vehicle shall not back the same unless such movement can be made with reasonable safety and without interfering with other traffic. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-12)
   B.   No person shall back a vehicle into an intersection or over a crosswalk; and while backing at any place, shall yield the right of way to all other vehicles and pedestrians. All drivers backing a vehicle shall do so at a reduced careful speed and shall only back while vision is not obstructed and not more than two (2) car lengths unless ordered to do so by a police officer. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 3-19)
6-5-8: OPENING AND CLOSING VEHICLE DOORS:
No person shall open the door of a motor vehicle on the side available to moving traffic unless and until it is reasonably safe to do so, nor shall any person leave a door open on the side of a motor vehicle available to moving traffic for a period of time longer than necessary to load or unload passengers. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-13)
6-5-9: OBSTRUCTING DRIVER'S VIEW OR DRIVING MECHANISM:
   A.   No person shall drive a vehicle when it is so loaded, or when there are in the front seat a number of persons exceeding three (3), as to obstruct the view of the driver to the front or sides of the vehicle or as to interfere with the driver's control over the driving mechanism of the vehicle.
   B.   No passenger in a vehicle shall ride in such position as to interfere with the driver's view ahead or to the sides or to interfere with his control over the driving mechanism of the vehicle. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-15)
