6-5-7: LIMITATION ON BACKING:
   A.   The driver of a vehicle shall not back the same unless such movement can be made with reasonable safety and without interfering with other traffic. (1985 Code ch. 20 § 12-12)
   B.   No person shall back a vehicle into an intersection or over a crosswalk; and while backing at any place, shall yield the right of way to all other vehicles and pedestrians. All drivers backing a vehicle shall do so at a reduced careful speed and shall only back while vision is not obstructed and not more than two (2) car lengths unless ordered to do so by a police officer.
