(A) A person who operates a golf cart, riding mower or ORV in violation of this chapter shall be fined, as follows:
(1) First offense within a two year period: $50.
(2) Second offense within a two year period: $75.
(3) Third offense within a two year period: $150.
(4) The city may collect jail reasonable attorney fees and court costs incurred in the enforcement of this chapter or the collection of fines levied pursuant to this chapter.
(B) All fines shall be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer of Jasonville, Indiana, at 304 West Main Street, Jasonville, Indiana 47438. failure to pay a fine within 30 calendar days shall result in the suspension of the individual's right to operate a golf cart or ORV within the city. An individual who operates a golf cart or ORV during such a period of suspension shall be fined $150 and his or her golf cart or ORV shall be impounded by the city at the cost of the violator.
(C) The violations shall be cite on either form promulgated by the city or on standard traffic ticket promulgated by the state.
(D) This section does not preclude or preempt any other penalties or fines that may be imposed by applicable law.
