§ 94.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm, or corporation occupying or owning real estate and property within the corporate limits of the city and failing to trim the limbs or branches of said trees extending over the streets, alleys, or sidewalks to the height of eight feet and failing to dispose of the limbs, trash, and rubbish from the trimming of said trees shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, shall be fined and forfeit to the city the sum of $5 for each offense and each day that said occupant shall fail and refuse to trim said trees and dispose of the trash and rubbish, as provided herein, shall be constituted a separate offense.

   (B)   Unless another penalty is expressly provided by law or §§ 94.03 or 94.04, every person convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500. These penalties or fines shall be added to the cost of repairing the damages caused to the streets.
