§ 52.63 USE OF GROUNDWATER AS A POTABLE WATER SUPPLY PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Prohibition. Except for such uses or methods in existence before December 31, 2010, the use or attempt to use groundwater from the area described in the drawing attached to Ord. 1640-12 as Exhibit “B” and incorporated herein by reference and within the village corporate limits, as a potable water supply, by installation or drilling of wells or by any other method is hereby prohibited. This prohibition expressly includes the Village of Itasca, Illinois.
   (B)   Definitions. For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      PERSON. An individual, partnership, co-partnership, firm, company, limited liability company, corporation, association, joint stock company, trust, estate, political subdivision, or any other legal entity, or their legal representatives, agents, or assigns.
      POTABLE WATER. Any water used for human or domestic consumption, including, but not limited to, water used for drinking, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, or preparing foods.
