§ 52.17 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF SERVICE PIPES.
   All repairs and maintenance of service pipes from the service valve to the premises serviced, and plumbing systems of buildings shall be made by and at the expense of the owners of the premises served. The village may, in case of an emergency or when necessary to protect the water supply, repair any service pipes and, if this is done, the cost of such repair work shall be repaid to the village by the owner of the premises served. All repairs and maintenance of service lines from the point of connection to the service valve, including the valve, shall be by the village.
