Advertising sign structures may be erected on any premises permitting outdoor advertising, subject to the following regulations:
(a) Not more than one advertising sign facing in each direction may be closer than 500 linear feet to each other on any one premises.
(b) The total face area of any one sign shall not exceed 300 square feet and the total sign area for any one location shall not exceed 600 square feet.
(c) Advertising signs shall be either wall signs or freestanding signs.
(d) The maximum overall height above the average ground level at the base of the structure shall not exceed 35 feet for a freestanding structure. Where a freestanding sign is mounted along U.S. Route 52 that has a higher grade level as compared to the grade level directly below the freestanding sign or sign structure, then the freestanding sign or structure's height will be measured from the roadway grade level to the highest point of the freestanding sign or sign structure.
