§ 1474.18 MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL SIGNS.
   Only the following on-premises signs may be erected on any premises used for a multi-family residence.
   (a)   Temporary signs. One temporary sign on each frontage, nonilluminated and not exceeding 12 square feet in face area or 24 square feet in total area. Such signs may be wall signs or freestanding signs not exceeding six feet in overall height.
   (b)   Identification signs.
      (1)   One identification sign for each dwelling unit, nonilluminated and not exceeding four square feet in total area. Such signs may be wall signs or projecting signs.
      (2)   One identification sign for each entrance from a public street or alley to a multiple dwelling complex, nonilluminated and not exceeding two square feet per dwelling unit or 50 square feet, whichever is less, in total sign area for each sign. Such signs may be wall signs, projecting signs or free standing signs not exceeding six feet in overall height.
   (c)   Directional signs. Directional signs, as needed in addition to other permitted signs to control pedestrian or vehicle traffic. Signs shall not exceed six square feet face area or 12 square feet total area for each sign. Signs may be wall signs, projecting signs or freestanding signs not exceeding six feet in overall height.
