Off-street parking facilities shall be located as specified in this section. Where distance is specified, such distance shall be measured from the nearest point of the parking facility to the nearest point of the building or use such facility is required to serve. Off-street parking spaces shall be allowed in required yards except where specifically prohibited by this Zoning Code.
(a) For multi-unit dwellings, off-street parking facilities shall be not more than 200 feet from the building they are required to serve.
(b) For uses located in and first permitted in a business district, and for hospitals, sanitariums, convalescent, nursing and rest homes, homes for the aged, dormitories, tourist homes, private clubs, fraternity and sorority houses, lodges and offices as first permitted in a residence district, off-street parking facilities shall be not more than 300 feet from the building they are required to serve.
(c) For uses other than those specified in divisions (a) and (b) hereof, off-street parking facilities shall be not more than 800 feet from the building they are intended to serve.
