§ 1276.03 PERMITTED USES.
   In a Health Service HS-1 District, no building, structure or land shall be used and no building or structure shall be erected, altered or enlarged which is arranged or designed for other than one of the following uses:
   (a)   General. Residential uses as regulated in the Residence R-2 District;
   (b)   Offices. Offices for physicians, surgeons, dentists, osteopaths and other health professions;
   (c)   Hospitals and hospital facilities. Buildings, structures and other improvements, additions thereto and extensions thereof, furnishings, equipment and real estate and interests in real estate, used or to be used for or in connection with the hospital’s emergency, intensive, intermediate, extended, long-term or self-care facilities; diagnostic, treatment and out-patient facilities; facilities related to programs for home health services; clinics and rehabilitation facilities for or pertaining to diagnosis, treatment, care or rehabilitation of sick, ill, injured, infirm, impaired, disabled or handicapped persons, or the prevention, detection and control of disease; training and food service facilities for health profession personnel; parking and service facilities in connection with any of the foregoing; any one, part of or any combination of the foregoing which has a contractual agreement with the Lawrence County General Hospital Board of Trustees; and site improvements, utilities, machinery, facilities, furnishings and any separate or connected buildings, structures, improvements, sites, utilities, facilities or equipment to be used in, or in connection with, the operation or maintenance of, or supplementing or otherwise related to the services or facilities to be provided by, any one or more of such hospitals and hospital facilities; and
   (d)   Comprehensive health services. Preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative or palliative items or services that include any of the following:
      (1)   Services of physicians, physicians’ assistants and nurse practitioners;
      (2)   Diagnostic laboratory and radiological services;
      (3)   Preventive health services, such as children’s eye and ear examinations, perinatal services, well child services and family planning services;
      (4)   Arrangements for emergency medical services; and
      (5)   Transportation services.
