The Building Officer shall administer and enforce this Zoning Code by the grant or refusal of permits and occupancy authorizations and in accordance with this Zoning Code. The Building Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor. The Building Officer shall be a full-time employee of the city subject to the administrative control of the Mayor.
