(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, except §§ 1042.22(f) and 1042.33, shall be served with notice by the Director of Public Works and Services stating the nature of the violation and the necessary action to be taken. The person shall be granted a reasonable time limit, determined by the Director, in which to correct and permanently cease all violations. Thereafter, such person shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 1042.99.
(b) In addition to the penalty provided in § 1042.99, whoever violates this chapter shall become liable to the city for any expense, loss or damage occasioned by the city by reason of such violation.
