§ 1042.26 EMERGENCY SUSPENSION OF SERVICE.
   (a)   The Director of Public Works and Services may suspend wastewater treatment service to any person if an actual or threatened discharge presents a substantial danger to the public health or the environment, if it interferes with the operation of the sewer works or if it violates any of the provisions of this chapter.
   (b)   Any person notified of the suspension of service shall cease all discharges within a period of time specified by the Director. If a person fails to comply with the suspension order within the specified time, the Director may immediately commence judicial proceedings to ensure compliance with the order. The city shall reinstate service and terminate judicial proceedings upon proof by the person that the noncomplying discharge has been eliminated.
