§ 1020.04 RESTORATION OF PAVEMENT AND DAMAGED SIDEWALKS.
   (a)   No person shall fail or neglect to replace or restore a street or alley to as good a condition as existed before the street or alley was disturbed.

   (b)   Streets and alleys shall be restored to their original condition using the same specific type of material found in such streets and alleys before the excavation. Restoration shall be done to the satisfaction of the Public Services Coordinator.
   (c)   Sidewalks that are damaged due to improvements made in the interests of the city residents shall be restored to their original condition from contraction joint to contraction joint. Restoration shall meet the specifications of § 1022.03(g) and shall be done to the satisfaction of the Public Services Coordinator.
   (d)   All work shall be done in a manner coordinated between the contractor and the Public Services Coordinator. Upon completion of the restoration, an inspection will be made by the Public Services Coordinator. If, in the opinion of the Public Services Coordinator, the quality and workmanship of the restored street, alley or sidewalk does not meet the standards of the city, the city may order the contractor to remove the street, alley or sidewalk and to replace it according to city specifications. If, after notification and a waiting period of 15 days, the work is not corrected, the city may correct the work and charge the contractor and/or property owner for the work.
