Any license issued under this chapter shall be for the remainder of the calendar year in which it is granted, and unless sooner revoked as provided in this chapter, such license shall expire at 12:00 midnight on December 31. However, any license may be renewed from year to year upon the same terms and conditions as are required for the original issuance of the license.
