§ 812.02 PREVENTING CONTAMINATION OF FOOD IN COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
   (a)   Except when washing fruits and vegetables, no person performing work in a commercial establishment within the city may contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with his or her bare hands, and shall use suitable utensils, such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves or food dispensing equipment when having contact with exposed ready-to-eat food.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section shall be subject to a fine of up to one hundred dollars ($100.00).
