It is hereby designated to be continuing policy of the city to do all things necessary and proper to secure for all its citizens their right to equal housing opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, familial status, ancestry, military or LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) individuals.
