§ 618.16 DANGEROUS OR EXOTIC ANIMALS.
   (a)   No person shall keep any lion, tiger or other such wild animal on any premises in the city.
   (b)   Except as provided in division (a) hereof, no person shall keep any snake, reptile or other exotic or dangerous animal on any premises in the city, unless such animal is at all times kept in a structure, cage or other secure place separating such animal from the public generally, customary invitees to the premises and children who may be on the premises.

   (c)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 698.02.
