Fines for violations of this chapter are as follows:
(a) A fine of five dollars ($5.00) per each violation of overtime parking at a parking meter if the fine is paid within 24 hours of the time of the violation, or ten dollars ($10.00) for each violation if the fine is paid after 24 hours but within seven days of the time of the violation.

(b) (1) The fine for illegal parking in a handicapped parking space shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or as otherwise required by state law.
(2) The fine for illegal parking near a fire hydrant shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or as otherwise required by state law.
(3) The fine for illegal parking in a fire lane shall be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or as otherwise required by state law.
