§ 452.08 SELLING, WASHING OR REPAIRING VEHICLE UPON ROADWAY.
   (a)   No person shall stop, stand, and/or park a vehicle upon any roadway for the principal purpose of:
      (1)   Displaying such vehicle for sale, or using the streets or public ways as storage space for vehicles intended for sale;
      (2)   Washing, greasing, changing oil, or repairing such vehicle except repairs necessitated by an emergency;
      (3)   Storing vehicles. Storing vehicles shall be deemed to exist when a vehicle has been parked continuously and has not been moved for a period of five consecutive days.
   (b)   Any vehicle found in violation of this section may be removed by securing a wrecker upon the direction or order of any police officer. Such vehicles will be released upon the payment of necessary and reasonable towing and storage charges together with any other proper fines levied against the owner thereof.
   (c)   Punishment shall be as provided in §§ 408.01, 408.02, and 452.15.
