§ 206.01 WARD BOUNDARIES.
   Inasmuch as the statutes of the state require a division of the city into wards, the territory of the city shall hereafter be divided into wards to be known, bounded and described as follows.
   (a)   First Ward.
      (1)   Beginning on the Ohio River at low water mark, where the north corporation line intersects the River; thence up the River at low water mark to a point where a line running through the center of Lawrence Street would intersect the River at low water mark; thence east with the centerline of Lawrence Street to the east corporation line; thence with the corporation line north and westerly to the beginning.
      (2)   Also included is all the land beginning at the most northerly point of the corporation line; thence running parallel with the U.S. Route 52 right-of-way and corporation line to the intersection of the north and south line between Sections 16 and 17; thence following such section line and corporation line north and westerly to the beginning.
      (3)   Also included is all territory annexed by Ordinance 5516, passed March 11, 1971, and Ordinance 88-47, passed November 21, 1988, that lies east of Lawrence Street.
   (b)   Second Ward.
      (1)   Beginning on the Ohio River at low water mark, where a line in the center of Lawrence Street would intersect the Ohio River; thence running up the River at low water mark to the centerline of Monroe Street, if extended; thence with the centerline of Monroe Street, if extended, to the east corporation line, and with the corporation line in a northerly direction to the center of Lawrence Street; thence with the center of Lawrence Street to the beginning.
      (2)   Also included is all territory annexed by Ordinance 5059, passed August 13, 1964, that lies between Lawrence Street if the same were extended and the present north line of the Third Ward; and all territory annexed by Ordinance 5131, passed July 19, 1965, that lies north of the line common to Lot No. 11 of the Ohio Iron and Coal Company’s survey of 1856 and the southeast quarter of Section 20, Town 1, Range 18.

   (c)   Third Ward.
      (1)   Beginning on the Ohio River at low water mark, where the north line of Monroe Street, if extended, would intersect the same; thence running up the River at low water mark to a point where a line in the center of Ellison Avenue, if extended, would intersect the same; thence with a line in the center of Ellison Avenue, if extended, to the east corporation line; thence with the corporation line in a northerly direction to the north line of Monroe Street, if extended; thence with the north line of Monroe Street, if extended, to the beginning.

      (2)   Also included is all that part of the territory annexed by Ordinance 5131, passed July 19, 1965, that lies west of U.S. Route 52 between Quincy Street and Pine Street; and all that part of the territory annexed by Ordinance 5085, passed November 25, 1964, that lies west of U.S. Route 52, between Maple Avenue and the line common to Sections 20 and 27, Town 1, Range 18.

   (d)   Fourth Ward.
      (1)   Beginning on the Ohio River at low water mark where a line in the center of Ellison Avenue, if extended, would intersect the River; thence running up the River at low water mark to the center of Ice Creek; thence with the center of Ice Creek, and the meanders thereof, to the mouth of a ravine near the line of lands of Peter Fink and Hecla Iron and Mining Company; thence up the ravine to a point in the same on the east side of the County road; thence along the County road north 85-1/4 degrees west 350 feet to the east end of Adams Lane; thence following the east side of the County road north 63-1/2 degrees west 530 feet; thence north 52 degrees west 1,250 feet; thence north 49 degrees west 1,220 feet to a pig iron corner, at the corner of lands formerly owned by Henry Horn; thence continuing along the east side of the County road and the east corporation line in a northerly direction to the center of Ellison Avenue, if extended; thence with a line in the center of Ellison Avenue, if extended, to the beginning.

      (2)   Also included is all that part of the territory annexed by Ordinance 5085, passed November 25, 1964, that lies west of U.S. Route 52, between the line common to Sections 20 and 27, Town 1, Range 18, and the south line of Pleasant Street, if the same were extended.
   (e)   Fifth Ward. The Fifth Ward shall include all that part of the territory annexed by Ordinance 5131, passed July 19, 1965, that lies east of the west right-of-way line of U.S. Route 52, and south of the line common to Lot No. 11 of the Ohio Iron and Coal Company’s survey of 1856, and the southeast quarter of Section 20, Town 1, Range 18.
