Zoning in the City of Ironton is hereby adopted pursuant to Ordinance No. 77-25, passed by the Ironton City Council on April 28, 1977, and made effective with the effective date of this Charter.
There shall be no amendments to the Zoning Ordinance without strict compliance to the procedures set forth in the Ohio Revised Code, with the exception that there shall be no new zoning amendments passed as an emergency measure. No zoning amendment shall be passed until it has had three separate readings at three separate meetings, and this requirement may not be suspended.
