A. The city manager, or designee, may test traffic control devices under actual conditions of traffic.
B. The chief of police may authorize the temporary placing of official traffic control devices when required by an emergency. The chief of police shall notify the city manager, or designee, of such action as soon as practicable. (1978 Code §23-17; amd. Ord. 97-3765, 1-14-1997)
C. The city manager or designee may install or modify traffic control devices in a temporary fashion to accommodate temporary traffic changes. (Ord. 99-3910, 12-7-1999)
