3-4-12: NONSYSTEM WASTE HAULERS:
Each nonsystem waste hauler within the village shall make application, obtain and maintain a current annual nonsystem waste hauler license for a license year beginning July 1, 1996, to operate within the village from the village of Inverness issued by the village administrator. No nonsystem waste hauler shall operate within the village without such a current license or if such license has been suspended or revoked. All nonsystem waste haulers shall not violate any of the provisions of this chapter and shall be specifically subject to the standards applicable to a franchisee related to system waste set forth in subsections 3-4-8A, C, F, I, J and K of this chapter. All dumpsters, roll- offs and similar containers utilized for nonsystem waste shall be readily identifiable by the legible display thereon of the name of the nonsystem waste hauler providing such services. The franchisee may act as a nonsystem waste hauler within the village without a separate license but shall comply with the same standards as any licensed nonsystem waste hauler. The license fee for each such nonsystem waste hauler license shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) per license year, except nonsystem waste haulers utilizing only vehicles of less than twenty thousand (20,000) pounds in gross weight, including any load, shall pay a license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per license year.
