Every owner or operator required to have a motor vehicle license herein shall receive at the time of the payment of the fee, a village license sticker. Said sticker shall be attached to the front windshield of the vehicle for which it is issued. If a motor vehicle license has been issued and affixed to an automobile, which is subsequently sold or traded, a new vehicle license will be issued for that year at a cost of five dollars ($5.00). In the event that any person to whom a vehicle license has been issued loses the sticker issued by the village or in the event that such sticker is destroyed or mutilated, such person may receive a new sticker, at a cost of five dollars ($5.00), upon providing to the village administrator satisfactory evidence of the loss or destruction of such sticker.
