The Liquor Control Commissioner shall cause a copy of the license application to be forwarded promptly to each Village Trustee and to the Chief of Police of the Municipality. The Chief of Police shall investigate the applicant to determine the accuracy of the information provided in the application and shall provide to the President and Board of Trustees a report of such investigation, which shall include a recommendation of whether he finds the applicant qualified to hold a license pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter.
