A. The corporate authorities find that pollution of the waters of the village constitutes a menace to the public health and welfare, impairs legitimate beneficial uses of water and offends the senses.
B. Paragraph 1012, subparagraphs (a) and (d) of the EPA are hereby adopted by reference as part of this chapter, except in paragraph (a) delete "Illinois" and all words following and insert "Inverness".
C. In addition to and without limiting the foregoing, no person shall cause or threaten or allow the discharge of residential or industrial wastes, including, but not limited to, sewage, septic effluent, soapy water and water conditioner backwash discharge into any waters, open ditches, storm sewers or drainage systems.
