It shall be unlawful for any person to use any street, road or other public place, as space for the sale or display of goods or merchandise for sale; or to write or mark, or to place any signs or advertisements on any such street, road or other public place, and any such merchandise, goods or signs may be removed summarily with or without notice by any village official.
