The design of water supply and sanitary sewer systems to be located in the flood plain shall minimize or eliminate the discharges from the system into the floodwaters and the infiltration of floodwaters into the system. On-site waste disposal systems shall be located so as to avoid impairment of them or contamination of such systems due to flooding. (Ord. 96-570, 8-13-1996)
