It shall be unlawful to construct, maintain, install or enlarge any swimming pool in the village except in compliance with all the provisions of this chapter. Swimming and bathing pools shall conform to the requirements of this chapter, provided that these regulations shall not be applicable to any such pool less than twenty four inches (24") (610 mm) deep, except where such pools are permanently equipped with a water recirculation system or involve structural materials. For the purposes of this code, pools are classified as private swimming pools or public swimming pools as defined in section 4-7-2 of this chapter. Materials and construction used in swimming pools shall comply with the applicable requirements of this code. (Ord. 06-822, 3-14-2006)
