Pursuant to the recommendations of the electrical commission of the village, there is hereby adopted as providing safe and practical standards and specifications for the installation, alteration and use of electrical equipment in the village, the national electrical code, 2005 edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, and adopted by the American National Standards Institute, except for such amendments, deletions, additions and/or modifications as hereinafter provided.
