The international residential code for one- and two-family dwellings, 2003 edition (IRC), of the International Code Council, is hereby adopted, except for such deletions and substitutions of sections as herein provided, as part of the Inverness residential building code (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the "IRBC" and sometimes in this chapter referred to as "this code").
