§ 115.30  RECORDS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT; CONTENTS; POLICE INSPECTION.
   (A)   Every person licensed under this subchapter shall, at the place of business named in said license, keep a book in which shall be written in ink at the time of the purchase or sale of any secondhand trailer or used automobile or parts or accessories a description thereof, the name, age, address and personal description of the person from whom such purchase was made or to whom such sale is made, as well as the day and hour of such purchase or sale.  Such book at all times shall be open to the inspection of any authorized member of the Police Department.  No entry in such book shall be erased, obliterated, altered or defaced.  Every licensed dealer shall make out a report every day before 10:00 a.m. of sales made and the cars received for sale or purchase in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter, such report to give full details in accordance with this subchapter of all transactions of the day previous and up to the time of making such report, and said report shall be filed with the Chief of Police before 10:00 a.m. of the next following business day.  Every such licensed dealer shall post in a conspicuous place in his place of business the dealer's license under the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   The licensee shall, upon the completion of any sale of any used motor vehicle, execute in triplicate a certificate in the form prescribed by the Chief of Police, stating that the used motor vehicle sold is equipped with the parts designated in § 115.31, in good working order as specified in § 115.31.  The licensee shall deliver one copy of such certificate to the vendee, one copy to the city Police Department, and he shall retain the remaining copy for his files.
