§ 97.047  APPLICATION; BOND REQUIRED.
   The application for the permit shall be accompanied by a cash bond in the amount of $100 for sidewalk, $100 for driveway approach, and/or surety bond to the city in a minimum sum of $5,000 conditioned for the faithful performance of such work in accordance with the requirements of this subchapter and this code or any other applicable ordinances of the city, and that the City Engineer or Director of the Department of Public Services may determine the need for an additional cash or surety bond which shall be based on the nature and extent of the work involved. Said bond shall run for a period of one year and must be renewed 60 days prior to expiration date of said bond, and further said bond all cover all permits issued to a contractor during the term of said bond.
