A permit shall be required of all persons and/or contractors desiring to do work involving excavating, breaking and removing material, and/or placing a fill in connection with installing sewers, drains, water mains, gas mains, oil lines, electrical conduits, poles, and any other structures of similar nature. An application for such permit is to be filled in on forms available at the inspection department offices. Such forms are to include information as determined by the Director of the Department Public Services. The permit fee shall be established from time to time by the City Council by resolution.
