§ 33.16  LIMITED SEARCH FOR DANGEROUS WEAPONS.
   Whenever a police officer has stopped and detained a person for questioning pursuant to § 33.15, and reasonably suspects, or has reasonable cause to believe, that there is danger to himself or others, he may conduct a limited search of such person for dangerous weapons.  The police officer may take and keep any such weapon or other thing found on such person, the possession of which may constitute a crime or might endanger the police officer or others, until he has completed the questioning, at which time he shall either return the property so taken, if lawfully possessed, or arrest such person and dispose of such property according to law.
