(A) All officers, employees, or appointees who would otherwise be required to file a bond before commencing the discharge of duties may be covered by and subject to an equivalent dishonesty and faithful performance of duty policy instead of a surety bond requirement.
(B) The coverage amount for an officer, employee, or appointee must be equal to or exceed the maximum amount of the bond otherwise required by law.
(C) If existing law does not specify an amount of the bond, or specifies only a minimum amount, the policy or bond must provide coverage to the following officials for amounts not less than $75,000 each:
(1) City Manager.
(2) Assistant City Manager.
(3) Clerk.
(4) Comptroller.
(D) Finance Director/Tax Commissioner.
(E) The Clerk of Mayor's Court an amount not less than $6,000.
