§ 35.56 CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   The City Manager shall prepare the civil service rules and regulations of the City of the Village of Indian Hill that are necessary to carry out a system of merit employment and to hear appeals of disciplinary action, and forward these rules to the Personnel Advisory and Appeals Board. The Board, after public hearing, shall make such modifications as it sees fit, and forward the rules, as modified, to the Council. The Council shall have the power to accept these rules or to return them to the Board for further consideration; but the Council shall have no authority to amend the rules. Upon approval by Council, the rules shall have the force and effect of law. Amendments may be made from time to time, following the procedure for original adoption.
