§ 52.003  ABBREVIATIONS.
   The following abbreviations, when used in this chapter, shall have the designated meanings:
   BOD. Biochemical oxygen demand.
   C.F.R.  Code of Federal Regulations.
   COD.  Chemical oxygen demand.
   EPA.  United States Environmental Protection Agency.
   gpd.  Gallons per day.
   mg/l.  Milligrams per liter.
   VPDES.  Virginia pollutant discharge elimination system.
   O&M.  Operation and maintenance.
   POTW.  Publicly owned treatment works.
   RCRA.  Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
   SIC.  Standard industrial classifications.
