161.01 FEES.

   (a)   In order to cover the costs incurred in the Mayor’s Court, the fee to be charged as a part of the penalty in the case of conviction in such court, subject to the authority of the Mayor to suspend the collection of such fees, to cover the City’s costs in processing a case through the court, including preparing the judgment and other necessary papers and for the mileage of the officer for arrest, service and testimony, shall be equal to or less than the following:

      (1)   Computer fee: ten dollars ($10.00).

      (2)   Court costs: forty dollars ($40.00).

      (3)   Program fee: fifteen dollars ($15.00).

   (b)   In addition to the fees set forth above in paragraph (a), pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 2949.093, any person convicted of, or pleads guilty to any moving violation that occurs in the City, an additional five dollars ($5.00) shall be charged and forwarded to the Cuyahoga County Treasurer for the Criminal Justice Regional Information Fund to financially support the Cuyahoga Regional Information System.
