159.06 DISPOSAL OF CITY RECORDS.
   Upon approval by the City Records Commission of records for disposal, the Commission or its designated representative shall send a list of such records to the Bureau of Inspection and Supervision of Public Offices of the Auditor of State. If, after sixty days, the Bureau does not object to the proposed disposal of records, the Commission or its designated representative shall notify the Ohio Historical Society of the proposed records to be disposed of and allow the Society sixty days to select for its custody or disposal such public records as the Society considers to be of continuing historical value. If the Society does not select any of the records under consideration, the City may arrange for the disposal of the same.
