158.26 GUARANTY OF MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP; FINAL PAYMENT.

   The contractor shall guarantee all materials and workmanship furnished and used in the improvement for a period of two years, or such other period as may be specified in the contract documents, after approval of the final estimate by the City Engineer or Service Director. The contractor shall post a maintenance bond in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the total contract price to secure that the materials and workmanship will remain in good and sound condition during the two-year period, or such other period as may be specified in the contract.
