157.09 SEXUAL HARASSMENT.

   (a)   The City of Independence adopts the policy and procedures attached to Ordinance 1998-28 as Exhibit A.

   (b)   The Finance Director is hereby directed to distribute a copy of the sexual harassment policy to every full and part-time City employee and obtain a written receipt from each employee. Further, the Human Resources Director is thereafter directed to provide all future, new employees with a copy of the policy and obtain a written receipt.
