105.02 PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
   (a)    Regular Meetings. Notification of the time and place of all regular meetings of Council or any committee thereof, commissions, boards, citizen advisory committees to Council and other similar public bodies of the City shall be regularly given in the Municipal Newsletter. Such notification shall also be posted on the bulletin board at the City Hall.
   (b)    Special Meetings. Notification of any special meeting of Council or any committee thereof, commissions, boards; citizen advisory committees to Council and other similar public bodies of the City shall be posted on the bulletin board at City Hall as soon as practical after the scheduling of such meeting and shall be sent to any news media requesting such notification twenty-four hours prior to the time of such meeting, except in the event of an emergency. Such notification shall include the time, place and purpose of the special meeting.
   (c)    Emergency Meetings. In the event of an emergency meeting, notification of such meeting shall be communicated to the news media that have requested notification of the time, place and purpose of such meeting.
   (d)    Media Notice. News media requesting notification of special meetings shall provide the Clerk of Council with a written designation of the name, mailing address and telephone number of the person to whom such notification is to be given. The City will, if at all possible, provide such notice only within normal working hours. It shall be the obligation of the news media requesting such notification to keep such written designation current at all times. (Ord. 1975-71. Passed 11-25-75.)
