376.04 DRIVING RESTRICTIONS.

(a) No person shall operate a golf cart on any public street within the City limits or on any street with a posted speed limit greater than thirty-five (35) miles per hour.

(b) No person shall operate a golf cart on Rockside Road or on East Pleasant Valley Road east of Brecksville Road.

(c) All occupants of a golf cart shall be seated during operation and shall be secured in seat belts. The maximum occupancy for any golf cart shall be equal to the number of seats and seat belts. The driver shall be responsible for ensuring that all passengers are in compliance with all child restraint laws of the State of Ohio for motor vehicles.

(d) Golf carts shall have their headlights illuminated at all times while being operated on public streets.

(e) Golf carts shall only be permitted to be operated on any public street within the City limits during from April 1st through October 31st.

(f) Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and fined not more than one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00).
