161.06 DEPOSIT OF PUBLIC MONIES.
The Clerk of Mayor’s Court shall deposit all public monies received with the properly designated depository on the business day of receipt, if the total amount of such monies received exceeds one hundred dollars ($100.00). If the total amount does not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) the Clerk may either deposit the public monies with the designated depository, or secure the public monies in a locked safety container located in the Clerk’s office accessible only by the Clerk until such time as the public monies for deposit exceeds one hundred dollars ($100.00), or the expiration of three business days, whichever is earlier.
