1531.03 MAINTENANCE.

All automatic fire detection and alarm devices shall be maintained in proper working order at all times and shall be subjected to periodic tests which the Fire Chief determines to be necessary to ensure the proper working order of such automatic fire detection and alarm devices. Such tests shall be conducted by the owner or his or her authorized representative at least once a year in the presence of the Fire Chief or his or her designee.
