1367.10 WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT INSPECTOR.
   (a)   Position Created. The Mayor is hereby authorized to engage the services of an inspector subject to approval by Council, who shall have a Class Two Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator's license, issued to him by the State.
   (b)    Duties. The duties of such inspector shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Municipal Engineer. He shall make bimonthly inspections of waste water treatment plants to be constructed within the City, except those plants which shall be constructed to service single-family and two-family units or subdivisions. He shall at the time of his inspections determine that proper maintenance is being performed on such treatment plants, and that such plants are operating within the standards established by the Department of Health of the State, which standards are attached hereto and made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein. He shall conduct whatever standard chemical tests or analyses are necessary to determine the operating efficiency of such treatment plants, and perform whatever additional duties may be required by the Engineer, in addition to those specified in Chapter 1367 of the Building Code.    (c)    Compensation. Such inspector shall be paid the following fee per year for each plant that he is directed to inspect by the Inspector of Buildings:
 
1,000 to 5,000 gallons
$135.00
5,000 to 20,000 gallons
175.00
20,000 or more gallons
225.00
