1357.04 USE OF STREET.
No person shall move or cause to be moved, any building onto, across or through any street without the written permission of the Inspector of Buildings and the Chief of Police. If, because of the size or weight of the building proposed to be moved with relation to the width or construction of the street or if the Inspector determines that such building is not structurally sound and would present a hazard to public safety or public property during such moving, such permission may be denied. In any case of moving onto, across or through any street, the Chief of Police shall first determine whether such moving shall interfere with the use of the street by the public and shall require proper protection of the public by inspectors, direction of traffic and warning devices to be provided at the expense of the mover.
